What else do I need?
A suitable smallpipe set with bag, drones, bellows and a compatible receiving stock. The receiving stock that stays in your bag is separate from the standalone chanter price.

Will it fit my pipes?
Compatible receiving stocks with an internal diameter of 19–25 mm can be accommodated. Ask Donald before ordering to confirm the arrangement, required fittings and total price.
A complete split-stock assembly adds £50 by agreement. Matching stock fittings for each additional chanter are a further £50 each.

Keyless, extended-range Scottish smallpipes
The Lindsay System chanter retains familiar Scottish smallpipe fingering from low G to high A and extends the range below and above it. The published range is D3–F♯5. Access to the wider range develops with playing experience.

Each Lindsay System chanter is made and set up for its piper. Current batch: 4 of 6 chanters available, ready for final testing. Expected dispatch from 22 October 2026, following clearance of the remaining back orders. Existing orders remain our first priority. If the proposed timing is unsuitable, you can cancel for a full refund. If you need the chanter for a particular occasion, ask before ordering.
