How the deposit works

Every price shown on this page is the 50% deposit, not the full instrument price. The remaining 50%, shipping and any extras agreed with you are payable before dispatch.

Current estimated turnaround: at least six months. This is a made-to-order option and does not represent finished stock.

Choose your configuration

Standard Set: £1,220 deposit toward a £2,440 total.
Without chanter: £942.50 deposit toward a £1,885 total, for customers who already own a Lindsay System Chanter.
Without bellows: £1,057.50 deposit toward a £2,115 total, for customers with suitable bellows.
Without chanter or bellows: £780 deposit toward a £1,560 total.

The instrument

The Standard Set combines Donald WG Lindsay's fully tuneable, keyless extended-range chanter with the full four-drone system: Bass A/B, Baritone D/E, Tenor A/B and Alto D/E. It includes extended drone-tuning facilities, drone shutoff and flow control.

A complimentary orientation course of up to five online lessons with Donald is included. We can cover setup, bellows control, tuning, maintenance and a clear starting path for technique and repertoire.
