14 tracks over two discs, recorded live at Watercolour Music, Ardgour, in the Scottish Highlands during December 2024.

Donald sings and plays flatpicked guitar and his own Lindsay System Scottish smallpipes; Roo Geddes plays fiddle throughout, and piano on selected tracks.

Disc One – original songs: including Casuarina and the title track Two Boats Under the Moon, written during years spent on Ascension Island, plus new writing rooted in Scotland such as When You Were Young and The Fisher.

Disc Two – songs from the tradition: Scots and Irish songs and ballads, including rare and unusual songs, pipe & fiddle sets, and classics like Tramps and Hawkers and The Wild Rover.
