About the instrument
Lindsay System Scottish Smallpipes are an innovative set of bellows-blown smallpipes built around the Lindsay System chanter – a keyless, extended-range A smallpipes chanter with a practical range of almost three octaves. The design has been covered in detail in the National Piping Centre’s magazine Piping Today (2018–2020) and featured on Scottish TV’s Live at Five (24 January 2018).

Each set includes:

• A Lindsay System chanter

• A four-drone A/D combination layout (Bass A/B, Baritone D/E, Tenor A/B, Alto D/E)

• Eezedrone synthetic drone reeds and a cane chanter reed

• A Canmore hybrid bag with screw-threaded stocks

• Fully brass-lined drones with O-ring joints and decorative drone stop caps

• Bellows as standard (mouth-blown sets are not currently available)

• Teal velvet bag cover by Debbie Covers and Crafts, with matching cords (alternative finishes available on request)

Shipping
Shipping is arranged by courier once your pipes are ready; shipping payment is taken at that point.

Within the UK, we normally use tracked, insured services suitable for high-value instruments.

For overseas orders (including the USA and Canada), we can arrange fully insured courier shipping and are happy to provide weight and dimensions if you prefer to organise your own courier. We’ll confirm options and costs with you before dispatch.
