The Lindsay System Chanter is a fully retuneable Scottish smallpipe chanter with a range from low D to high D, designed and made in Scotland by Donald WG Lindsay.

How to order
Pay in full: £555. This is the main ordering route.
If you prefer not to pay in full when ordering, you may place a 50% deposit of £277.50. The remaining £277.50, postage and any agreed extras are payable before dispatch.
Will it fit my pipes?
If your pipes already have a split-stock system, yes. The chanter can be designed to interface with any receiving (bag-side) stock from 19–25 mm. For dimensions outwith that range, please enquire.
If your pipes do not have a split stock, you will also require the complete split assembly, an additional £50, plus £50 for each additional stock required—one for every other chanter you wish to use with the set. Nothing extra is charged without your agreement.
If you are unsure whether your pipes have a split stock, ask your pipemaker. If preferred, your pipemaker may be able to provide the required split-stock arrangement.
Postage
Postage for one chanter is currently £10 within the UK, £16 to Europe and £25 elsewhere. Import VAT, customs duties and local handling charges are not included.

The familiar nine-note Scottish smallpipe range uses standard fingering. The additional notes are introduced one at a time.
Background and recordings
Developed in Scotland between 2006 and 2018, the Lindsay System Chanter is the original extended-range chanter at the centre of Lindstruments' work. It has been heard on recordings, television and film, including The Outrun and My Old School.
